Parent/Child Story Starts
Mondays, 1:00 to 1:50
Next Session Begins March 19
Ages 18 months to 5 years
Designed to give children and their caregivers the chance to create stories side by side, this class is a high energy romp through imaginary worlds. Activities are similar to those experienced in our What's the Story Steve? shows, but because the group is small, children who are intimidated by the traditional theater setting (or who just can't get enough) have a greater opportunity to participate. We strive to create a warm, inclusive environment that allows all participants to to feel supported and good about their work.
Classes are held at our studio, 4624 Burnet Road
$110.00 for eight week session.

Parent/Child Story Rhythms
Fridays, 10:00 to 10:50
Next Session Begins March 19
Ages 18 months to 5 years
This lively class allows caregivers to share a unique performing arts experience with their children.  With a strong emphasis on music, activities include story-telling exercises, songs and games, this is a hands on approach to developing social abilities and developing an interest in creative collaboration.

Instructor Kate Bojanek uses a free form, inclusive style  that allows participants to join in at the level best suited to their abilities. The class is for mixed ages, designed for children between 18 months and 3 years - though younger and older siblings are welcome to try as well. I envision this class as an opportunity for parents who want to join in on the fun, and as a means for siblings and their caregivers to create together.
Classes are held at our studio, 4624 Burnet Road
$110.00 for eight week session.

Improv training provides tools to both communicate and listen more effectively. In this class, we combine improv performance technique with basic narrative structure to create interesting, entertaining stories in the moment. A high energy, process focused performance class.

The focus of this class is on developing basic improv skills. Learning to say, "Yes!" to create in the moment, and to trust in and  collaborate with other performers. Additionally, in this class we stress basic stage rules, using your voice properly, making sure the audience and your fellow performers can see and hear you, and investing in the idea that the most important thing of all is to have fun on stage.
Enrollment capped at eight
Held at ColdTowne Theater, 4801 Airport Blvd.
$90.00 per eight week session.

Teen Shows and Improv Jams
Three opportunities this spring to see teen performers take the stage at ColdTowne Theater! First Sundays in March, April and May at 5:30, we invite a teen troupe and a local adult troupe to perform. Followed by an improv jam where we invite performers 18 and YOUNGER to join us on stage for a free for all improv explosion. It will be awesome.
